The oak adds complexity but the intense fruit restrains and helps harmonise. The flavours are vibrant and follow the aroma of spicy fruit characters; dark cherry ripe plum and a hint of clove and nutmeg. There is 1% Viognier co fermented in this wine and it contributes to a very
